Creating TrueCopy for Mainframe Pairs

You can start establishing the TrueCopy for Mainframe pairs as soon as you have:

Identified the volumes which will become the TrueCopy for Mainframe M-VOLs and R-VOLs

Ensured that all system and TrueCopy for Mainframe requirements have been met

Assessed TrueCopy for Mainframe Requirements

Completed hardware and software installation

Configured the MCUs and RCUs for TrueCopy for Mainframe operations

The Add Pair dialog box (see

) allows you to add new TrueCopy for Mainframe

pairs and set the initial copy options and pair options for the new pairs. To open the Add Pair
dialog box, click the Pair Operation tab, select a CU from the tree, select the desired device from
the list, right-click and click the Add Pair command. And then select the desired copy mode (sync
or async) for the new pair(s).
