Creating New Reports

3 In the Reports Progress window, the most recently generated
report appears at the top of the report list (if Reports Progress
does not display automatically, open it from the task bar
). Once report generation is complete,
open or save the report by clicking the link, Download report,
in the Progress column.
Generated reports are available to download from the Reports
Progress window for 1 hour. Scheduled reports are available for 12
hours, to ensure that any reports auto-generated during off-peak
hours remain available in regular work hours.
Reviewing Report Progress
Each time you generate a report, the Reports Progress window
displays automatically. Note that if the Reports Progress window is
already open, it remains hidden behind the currently active window
(to open the Reports Progress window, click the taskbar,
).
To open the Reports Progress window:
4 Choose Options | Reports Progress , or click the Reports Pro-
gress icon on your viewLinc desktop, .
Creating New Reports
There are two ways to create new Alarm, Location History or System
report: create a new report using the Reports window parameters
tabs, or create a copy of an existing report (cloned report).
Creating an Alarm Report
To create a new Alarm report:
1 In the Reports window, select Options | New Alarm Report.
2 Enter the name of the new report.
