2．『 』: Etäisyyden/mittaustilan näyttö.
Tämä ilmoittaa mitatun etäisyyden digitaalisesti metreinä/jaardeina. Se näyttää
myös mittaustilaa kuten "Measurement in progress" (mittaus käynnissä),
"Measurement unsuccessful" (mittaus epäonnistui) tai "Unable to measure" (mittaus ei onnistu).

* Vaikka nestekidenäyttö on valmistettu uusimman tekniikan mukaisesti, pölyn haittavaikutusta ei voida
täysin poistaa. Nestekidenäyttö näyttää yleensä samaa suurennusta tai pienennystä, tosin okulaari suurentaa
merkittävästi tämän laitteen nestekidenäyttöä. Tästä johtuen tuotteen käytössä pöly voi näkyä virheenä. Se ei
kuitenkaan vaikuta mittaustarkkuuteen.

Huomautus — ohjainten, säätimien tai
toimintojen käyttäminen muuhun tarkoitukseen
tai muulla kuin tässä esitetyllä tavalla voi
aiheuttaa altistumisen säteilylle.
1. Asenna paristo paristolokeroon. (Katso "Pariston
vaihto")
2. Diopterin säätäminen
Säädä diopteria selkeän kuvan saamiseksi
nestekidenäyttöön.
Kierrä diopterin säätörengasta ensin vastapäivään,
kunnes se pysähtyy. Kytke sen jälkeen virta päälle,
jolloin nestekidenäyttö aktivoituu katsoessasi
Nikon Laser -etäisyysmittarin läpi. Kierrä diopterin
säätörengasta myötäpäivään, kunnes näyttö
tarkentuu.
Jos diopterin säätö ei vastaa paljaan silmän
näkötarkkuutta, kohteen valitseminen ei ehkä ole
mahdollista.
3. Mittaus
Varmista asetukset ennen mittaamista.
