Connecting peripheral devices
Selecting display modes
This model uses the Intel video controller. You can select which display is used when the computer is connected to an external display.
When you connect an external display, you can switch the display between your computer's LCD and the external monitor by pressing
the button on the port replicator or the display/LAN adapter or following the procedure below.
To select a display, proceed as follows:
1 Click Start, then Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.
2 Click Appearance and Themes, and then select Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.
3 Click the Settings tab.
4 Click the Advanced button.
The properties dialog box appears for advanced settings.
5 Click the tab with its name beginning with Intel(R).
6 Click Graphic Properties.
7 On the Device tab, click to select a display.
8 Click OK.

You may not be able to display on the computer LCD screen and an external
display or a projector at the same time, depending on the types of computer
displays and projectors you are using.
