Troubleshooting special buttons

Pressing the ZOOM button does not change the screen resolution

❑ When the software that places high load to the CPU is running, pressing the ZOOM button may cause a malfunction. It is strongly

recommended that you should not use the ZOOM button while such software is running.

❑ The ZOOM button may not work with some software or even cause such software to malfunction. It is strongly recommended that

you should not use the ZOOM button while such software is running.

❑ The ZOOM button is disabled during video playback.

Pressing the ROTATE button does not rotate the screen view

❑ The ROTATE button only works when the LCD colour setting is Medium (16 bit) or Highest (32 bit). Check the setting for

appropriateness.

❑ The ROTATE button may not work with some software or even cause such software to malfunction. It is strongly recommended

that you should not use the ROTATE button while such software is running.

❑ The ROTATE button is disabled during video playback.

Pressing the ROTATE button displays the BIOS setup screen

If you press the ROTATE button while the VAIO logo is on screen, the BIOS setup screen will appear.

To exit the BIOS setup screen, proceed as follows:

Use one of the cursor keys to select Exit and then Exit (Discard Changes).

Press Enter to start Windows.
