Connecting the Konica Minolta FD-5 spectrophotometer to the
IC-309 print controller

Before you connect the Konica Minolta FD-5 spectrodensitometer
to the IC-309 print controller, make sure that it has been calibrated
and set according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The USB cable can be connected and disconnected even when
the instrument's power is ON. In the following procedure the
instrument is turned OFF before the USB cable is connected.

1. Turn off the FD-5 by sliding the power switch to the left.

2. Connect the USB cables's B connector to the instruments's

USB connection terminal.
