Installation (Local printing)

- When personal computers or workstations are connected to the
network and you want to print via the network, select [A network
printer, or a printer attached to another computer]. In case, refer to
"Installing to Windows XP (PCL6/PS3)" on Page 4-18.

Click [Next].
The window to select the printer port
appears.

Select the port connecting the printer from the list displayed by clicking
[
▼] at the side of the [Use the following port:] box.
- Select the port to which the printing system is directly connected.
Note
If you want to print directly to the printing system via the network, select
the LPR port. For details, refer to "Installing to Windows XP (PCL6/PS3)"
on Page 4-18.

Click [Next].
The window to select the printer manufacturer and model appears.

Click [Have Disk].
The [Install From Disk] window ap-
pears.
