Installing the DirectX 9.0b Update for Unicenter
If you are using CA Unicenter, you will need to download and install a Windows update for
MetaConsole to work properly or uninstall completely. To download and install this update, fol-
low this procedure:

From the Start menu, run Windows Update.

Click on Scan for Updates to obtain updates relevant to your Windows 2000 installation.

Under Pick Updates to Install, click on Windows 2000 to obtain a list of Recommended
Updates for your system.

Scroll down the list until you locate the DirectX 9.0b End-User Runtime update.

Click Add.
Note: This update cannot be installed with any other update.

Click on Review and Install Updates, then Install Now.

Reboot the system after the install is complete.
