End User License Agreement

Notice to User
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you, the end
user, and KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (“KONICA MINOLTA”). By
using the products described in this user manual, by opening a shrink-wrap package
containing Software or downloading Software to your computer, you agree to be bound by the
terms of this License. This Agreement applies to the enclosed software (“Software”) and
related explanatory written materials (“Documentation”).

License Grant
KONICA MINOLTA grants to you a non-exclusive license to use the Software. The
term “Use” shall include storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying the
Software with one computer.

Ownership and Copyright
The copyright and the intellectual property rights in regard to the Licensed Articles
is owned by KONICA MINOLTA and/or its licensors/suppliers. You acknowledge
and agree that the Licensed Articles, and its structure, organization and code are
proprietary and valuable trade secrets of KONICA MINOLTA and/or licensors/
suppliers. This License Agreement does not convey to you an interest in or to the
Licensed Articles, but only a limited right of use revocable in accordance with the
terms of this License Agreement.

Restrictions
You may not adapt, modify, decompile, disassemble, and reverse engineer or
otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Software. You may not rent,
lease, sublicense, modify, adapt, pledge, lend, share or transfer versions or copies
of the Software. You may not create derivative works based upon the Software or
any part thereof.

Copies
You may not make copies of the Licensed Articles unless KONICA MINOLTA’s
prior written consent is obtained provided that you may make one copy of the
Software solely for backup purposes.

Transfer
You may not transfer the Software, any copies or related Documentation or the
License granted under this Agreement to a third-party transferee without KONICA
MINOLTA’s prior written consent.

Limited Warranty
KONICA MINOLTA warrants, for your benefit alone, for a period of 90 days from
the date of commencement of this License Agreement (referred to as the “Warranty
Period”) that the Software shall operate substantially in accordance with the
functional specifications in the Documentation. KONICA MINOLTA specifically
does not warrant that the Software will operate uninterrupted or error-free. If
during the Warranty Period, a defect in the Software appears, you may contact
KONICA MINOLTA for either a replacement or, if so elected by KONICA MINOL-
TA, refund of amounts paid by you under this License Agreement. In no event will
KONICA MINOLTA be held liable for any damages, including loss of data, lost
profits, or any other incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the
use of, or failure or inability to use this Software on any theory of liability. This
limitation applies even if KONICA MINOLTA has been advised of the possibility of
such damages.

Export Requirements
You may not export, re-export the Software, any copy or adaptation without KONICA
MINOLTA’s prior written consent or in violation of any applicable Law or Regulation
of the country in which you are located and in which the Software is installed.
