Connect the front top chain devises to the chains and connect the chains to
boom-sections 1 and 2
T OP, F RONT , C OMPLETE B OOM A SSEMBLY
Adjust the 1" retract chain at bottom front to 27/8" for initial set-up.
See Page 9.25
Install the carriage tilt cylinder and connect the hose assemblies to the hydraulic
sub-assembly and the tilt cylinder.
If auxiliary hydraulics are called for, install hoses and electric cable to the nose of
boom-section 4 at this time.
F RONT, C OMPLETE B OOM A SSEMBLY
The Boom Assembly is complete and ready for assembly to the machine.
Final adjustments should be mode before the machine is returned to service.
