7. Troubleshooting

3. Paraffin reservoir
Paraffin does not melt or melts only
very slowly.
- Selected temperature too low.
- No enhanced mode set.
- Temperature indication incor-
rect, or paraffin reservoir is not
heated.
- Incorrect start time selected.
- Fuse for the heater of the paraf-
fin reservoir activated.
- Technical fault.
- Increase temperature for par-
affin reservoir.
- Activate on-demand heater.
(see Chapter 5.6 )
- Check temperature settings
and repeat if necessary.
- Check start time.
- Check fuses and replace as
required. (see Chapter 7.3 )
- Contact customer service.
4. Paraffin dispenser
No paraffin flow.
Paraffin drops when valve is shut.
Non-homogeneous paraffin
flow (e.g. air pockets).
- Paraffin not completely molten.
- The paraffin outlet is clogged or
the magnetic switch defective.
- Air bubbles in dispenser at start
of operation
- Wait until paraffin is entirely
molten; then check again.
- Contact customer service.
- Keep dispenser open at maxi-
mum flow for a period of time.
