Horizontal Alignment
The ML horizontal path of the probe is controlled by the rotation of the instrument. This part of the
alignment procedure checks the ML horizontal path is perpendicular. To test this the dial indicator is
moved horizontally along the length of the T-bar.
10. Use the AP drive to position the dial indicator spring against the T-bar.

11. Continue to move the AP drive so that the dial indicator arm completes one full rotation. Stop
moving the drive when the dial reads zero.
