Please observe the following for wiring according to EMC guidelines:

Note!

Separate control cables from motor cables.
ƒ
Connect the shields of the control cables and data cables on both sides.
The shield for the function module must be connected to the terminal "SH"
(Shield).
ƒ
Differences in potential between the standard devices can be avoided by
using an equalizing conductor with a large cross−section (reference: PE).
ƒ
Please see the information on wiring according to EMC guidelines in the
Operating Instructions for the standard device.
General wiring information

Comply with the DeviceNet bus topology
2.
Bus terminating resistors of 120

each (scope of delivery):
l
between CAN−LOW and CAN−HIGH
l
only at the cable ends

Bus cable according to the specification

Do not exceed the permissible bus cable length (see
^ 48).
