Design a sequential function chart Chapter 1
• The SFC takes the first TRUE path.
• The Logix Designer application lets you change the order in which the
SFC checks the transitions (see chapter 2, Program a Sequential
Function Chart on page 55 ).
Simultaneous branch
A simultaneous branch represents paths (steps or group of steps) that occur at the
same time (an AND structure).
• All paths execute.
• All paths must finish before continuing with the SFC.
• The SFC checks the transition after the last step of each path has executed
at least once.
