Device Restore

To reset or restore a device:

1. Select a device from the dropdown list.
2. Select one of the function commands listed below.

Reset Device. Select the Reset Device checkbox to send a power-on reset command to the device selected by the Device

dropdown list.

Restore Device I/O to Factory Defaults. Select the Restore Device I/O checkbox to send a restore I/O factory default command

to the device selected by the Device dropdown list. Warning: Do not execute this command if the system is a factory kit or a
factory configured system. This erases all user or special configuration of the I/O point parameters.

Clear I/O Linking. Selecting the Clear I/O Linking checkbox sends a reset I/O linking command to the DX80 Gateway. All I/O

mapping from inputs to outputs is erased. Warning: Do not execute this command if the system is a factory kit or a factory
configured system.

3. Click the Send button to execute the selected function command.

Baseline M-GAGE

To baseline an M-GAGE Node:

1. Select the Node number from the dropdown list.
2. Click on the Baseline M-GAGE button.

Site Survey

Use the Site Survey screen to conduct a Site Survey between the Gateway and a selected Node.

1. Select a Node from the dropdown list. The example screen shows Node 1.
2. Click the Start button.

The results displayed are the send and receive results of the last 100 packets sent from the Gateway. Click on the Stop button at any
time to stop the Site Survey.

Interpreting the Site Survey Results

Site Survey results are listed as a percentage of data packets received and indicate the signal strength of the received signal.
