Removing the Speaker Cover

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the system board (see

Removing the System Board

).


 

3.

Remove the display bezel (see

Removing the Display Bezel

).


 

4.

Remove the speakers (see

Removing the Speakers

).


 

5.

Remove the seven screws that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.

 

6.

Release the two tabs that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.

 

7.

Lift the speaker cover away from the computer.

 

Replacing the Speaker Cover

 

1.

Follow the instructions in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Secure the two tabs on the speaker cover to the slots on the chassis.

 

3.

Align the screw holes on the speaker cover with the screw holes on the chassis.

 

4.

Replace the seven screws that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.

 

5.

Replace the display bezel (see

Replacing the Display Bezel

).
