NOTE:

The default user name is administrator and the default password is powervault.

5. Click Restore Wizard.

The Restore Wizard window displays.

6. Click Next.

If you do not see the media that contains your restoration files, skip to step 7. Otherwise, perform the following steps:

a. Click + next to File.

b. Click + next to the media that contains the restoration files.

c. Select System State.

d. Click Next.

e. Go to step 8.

7. If you do not see the media that contains your restoration files, you must import the files.

After a reinstallation, you must import the file because your system is not aware of previous backups.

a. Click Import File.

The Backup File Name window displays.

b. Click Browse.

The Select file to catalog window displays.

c. After locating your file, click Open, and then click OK.

The What to Restore window displays.

d. Click + next to File.

e. Click + next to Media Created on.

You are prompted for your backup file location.

f. If the location is correct, click OK. Otherwise, browse to the correct backup file location.

An icon labeled System State will appear in the What to Restore window.

g. Click + next to System State.

You are asked to reconfirm your backup file location.

h. If the location is correct, click OK. Otherwise, browse to the correct backup file location.

i. Click the check box next to System State, and then click Next.

j. Click Advanced.

The Where to Restore window displays.
