shot length.
(DSet hocus to MANLAl.. I he tfA indicator appears in the viewfinder.

Move the power zorim lex er to the "T" side until the lever reaches the end.

T urn the FAK/NIZ.AR dial to achiex e a sharp focus. Be sure not to touch the built-in

microphone when \'ou turn the F.AK/\'H.\K dial.

Set the desired shot length using the power zoom ¡ever.

To return to autofocus mode

Set KOCUS to AUTO. The indicator in the \ iowfinder disappears.

Shooting in relatively dark places

Shoot at wide-angle after focusing in the teleplioto position.

To record a very distant subject

I\jsh FOCUS down to INFINITY. The lens focuses on the most distant subject while
FOCUS is held down. When it is released, manual focus mode is resumed.
Use this function when shooting through a window t)r a screen, to focus on a most

distant subject.

Note on manual focusing

T he indicator changes to the following indicator:

When recording a ver\- distant subject.
When there is something t<.>o doso to focus on.
