KNEE LIFTER

The knee lifter is very helpful with sewing techniques such as
machine applique and free-motion sewing. It allows you to
keep both hands on your project yet control the raising and
lowering of the presser foot using your knee.

To insert the knee lifter, first remove the socket cover from
the front of the machine. Keeping the ribs of the knee lifter
sideways, insert toward the knee lifter socket until it ends.

Move the knee lifter to the right to raise the presser foot.
Release the knee lifter to lower the presser foot.

and replace the socket cover.

ENDLESS EMBROIDERY HOOP

Embroider endless designs quickly and easily with your
ENDLESS EMBROIDERY HOOP. When you use the Endless
Hoop, the Futura software will automatically add “alignment
stitches” in the corners of your design, allowing you to
reposition the hoop accurately for continuous sewing.
Your software includes a selection of designs for endless
embroidery, which can be found in the Design Library. You can
use other designs as endless embroidery as well because the
software will automatically add the alignment stitches for you.

Hoop the Fabric

1. Make sure that the right-hand edge of the fabric to be

embroidered has a very straight edge so that it will line up
evenly along guide (A).

2. Move lever (B) to the left and down to raise/lift the inner

hoop(C). This opens the hoop.

3. Place the fabric with stabilizer between the outer hoop (D)

and the inner hoop (C). Position the fabric edge so that it is
parallel along guide (A), evenly from top to bottom.

4. Move lever (B) up and to the right to lower the inner hoop.

Snap it in place to close the hoop.

Attention: Do not touch or move the knee lifter while
sewing, otherwise the machine beeps with an error
message and stops.

You will be embroidering your endless designs starting from
one end of the fabric, working your way along the fabric
edge to the other end of the fabric
