Turning on the illumination of the terminal
In the same panel you can also
activate or deactivate an audible
alarm and keyclick.
The requested changes are activated
upon pressing F1 CONT. This key-
stroke brings you then straight back
to the screen from which the
Configuration program was activated.
Changing the observation rate
Move the focus to the next line by
pressing the cursor down key. Then
either press ENTER to get access to
a list box with all possible rates (from
0.1 sec to 60 sec) or use the cursor
left / right keys to toggle among these
options one by one.
Illumination and contrast of the
display of the terminal can be turned
on or off. Use the "Cursor left" key to
toggle between yes and no. If you
select yes you should specify a time-
out: once this set time is expired, the
illumination is switched off again.
Certain parameters of the Terminal
can be configured under "3 General\
6 TR500" :
You might want to change the rate at
which observations are recorded.
This parameter can be found under
"2 Operation \ 3 Logging":
