MIDI BANK & CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT ]

The DEQ7 makes it possible to select specific programs via external

MIDI control. The DEQ7 receives a MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE

NUMBER and selects the program that you have assigned to it using

the MIDI PROG CHANGE function which will be described below'.

The DEQ7 actually can be programmed with foiu completely inde­

pendent sets of MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE NUMBER/MEMORY

NUMBER assignments. Each of these is contained in a different

“bank”: A, B, C or D. Before programming the assignments, how­

ever, it is necessary to set the DEQ7 MIDI transmit/receive chaimel

using the “MIDI CONTROL ch” function. An example of the way
