INPUT ATTENUATOR ADJUSTMENT

I

This function makes it possible to independently adjust the input

attenuation (sensitivity) of the left and right channels when using

the DEQ7’s DIGITAL IN terminal. It is essential to set these para

meters properly to avoid “skipping” and digital noise that may

occur with high-level digital input signals. The INPUT ATTENU

ATOR control range is from 0 to 60 dB.

® Press the UTILITY key until the “INPUT ATTENUATOR

LEFT” function appears.

‘ Use the parameter editing A and V keys to set the required

amount of attenuation for the left channel.

Press the UTILITY key one more time to call the “INPUT

ATTENUATOR RIGHT” function.

® Use the parameter editing A and V keys to set the required

amount of attenuation for the right channel.

Hold the UTILITY key down until the UTILITY mode is ex

ited.
