LIR INPU T Connectors & LEVEL Selector

The left and right channel inputs to the DEQ7 are female XLR

type connectors for compatibility with professional equipment

and maximum connection reliability. The input circuitry is elec­

tronically balanced and presents a load impedance of 10,000

ohms.

The LEVEL switch permits selection of -20 dB or 44 dB nomi­

nal input level.

L/R O U TPUT Connectors and LEVEL Selector

The DEQ7’s left and right channel output connectors are male

XLR types delivering a balanced signal.

The LEVEL switch selects -20 dB or 4- 4 dB nominal output

level.

D IG ITAL I/O IN & O U T Connectors

These Yamaha-format digital IN and OUT coimectors permit

direct digital coimection to compatible Yamaha equipment —

such as the DMP7 Digital Mixing Processor. When using the

digital input, use the UTILITY mode “INPUT ATTENUATOR”

function to set the appropriate input level.

M ID I IN & O U T Connectors

MIDI signals from external MIDI devices can be fed to the MIDI

IN connector to remotely select EQ programs and trigger the dy­

namic EQ programs. The MIDI OUT coimector is provided so

that the internal RAM memory contents may be dumped to a

MIDI data recorder for large-volume, long-term storage. Pro­

gram data thus stored can be re-loaded later via the MIDI IN

connector.
