Halftone
T h e Halftone setting is useful when you send photographs or illustrations with gray tones. The Halftone
function is preset to OFF in your machine.

Resolution is automatically set to FINE and Contrast is set to NORMAL. The settings are
fixed during the communication.

To set Halftone to OFF, press I HALF TON^ again.

HALF TONE
After choosing the appropriate Halftone setting, proceed to the next transmission
setting or begin dialing.
NOTE
When you use the Halftone function, it takes longer to send a document since more picture information must be sent
to the other machine to make a detailed copy.
