oPerAting the ultrAWAVe series in leVel APPlicAtions
introduction
The UltraWave Series is designed to get you up and running quickly once the system is installed. The controller
guides you through the Startup Procedure. See
Figure 11: Startup Procedure Diagram
. During the Startup
Procedure, you will be asked to input a number of parameters, including:
• Tank Height: The distance from the full point to the point where the vessel is considered empty. Material
level changes within this range are displayed by the UltraWave Series controller. See
Figures 12 and 13
.
Note: The maximum distance a transducer can measure depends on its frequency and the type of liquid in the
vessel. Entering a value for Operating Span greater than the transducer’s capability may cause erratic reading.
Note: See Calibration Menu for a description of the full point.
