Manual Mode. The Auto LED turns off.
2. Press the Menu Key to display the Main Menu.
3. Press the up/down arrow key until 90 Service Menu appears. Press Enter.
4. Scroll with the up arrow key to 93 Enable. Press Enter.
5. Scroll with the arrow keys to the math channel you want to enable.
6. Press the Enter Key to enable a channel. Press Enter again to enable. Scroll to No to disable.
7. Press the Scan/Hold Key to return the display to vessel monitoring.
Note: The channel number does not matter when entering the menu tree to enable channels.
configuring A MAth chAnnel
The example below shows how to set up the math channel to calculate the average of the levels from four
vessels. The equation used in the example is: C9=(C1+C2+C3+C4)÷4.0
1. If the controller is in Auto Mode (Auto LED illuminated), press the Scan/Hold Key to put the system in
Manual Mode. The Auto LED turns off.
2. Use Up Arrow or Down Arrow key to scroll to the desired math channel (channel 9 in this example).
3. Press the Menu Key to display the Main Menu. The display shows:

4. Select 20, the display shows:
UltraWave Series
20 Math Menu
5. Press Enter and the display shows:
Cx=
‘C’ ‘+’ ‘*’
x is either 2 or 9 depending on whether or not another scanner card is installed
Note: You must enable the math channel, as described above, before you set it up.
6. Press the Menu Key two times to access the third page of the Math Menu. The display shows:
Cx=
‘(’ ‘)’ CLR"
7. Press the F1 Key to select (. The display shows:
Cx=(
‘(’ ‘)’ ‘*’ CLR"
8. Press the Menu Key two times to access the first page of the Math Menu again. The display shows:
