The connection between Webster and the terminals can be affected by many factors, such
as a congested or slow network, the shutting down of terminals, etc. These reasons cause
the data transfer between Webster and the terminals to be delayed. As discussed earlier,
in such situations, the terminals will save the data and transaction logs into the buffer
memory and resumes the upload when a connection is established again. The same proc-
ess is done by Webster.

When the administrator is trying to send a command to the terminals when the connec-
tion is down, Webster will store the command into its own buffer memory and will resend
the data when the connection resumes. It is advisable to check the page Webster Com-
mand to see the status of command, which will be on of the following:
