6. Position NEUSPEED pulley on crankshaft and align pin to clearance hole. Gently press pulley onto shaft. If
pulley does not slide on shaft easily, remove and check for burs or corrosion. If any burs or corrosion exist,
remove as necessary. Use of excessive force to install the pulley will damage both the pulley and the
crankshaft and will void warranty. Install supplied bolts if you vehicle was originally equipped with 6mm
hex socket bolts. For vehicles equipped with OE 10mm triple square bolts, reuse for installation. Torque in a
crisscross pattern to 10Nm (7 ft-lb.) + addition 90° (¼ turn).
7. Install supplied belt in correct orientation making sure belt is completely seated in pulley grooves. NOTE:
FAILURE TO SEAT BELT CORRECTLY WILL SEVERELY DAMAGE BELT.
8. Carefully check complete installation to be sure all fasteners are tight, the belt is correctly seated in grooves of
each pulley and that nothing interferes with the pulleys or belt.
