10. Underneath locking bracket for ECU,
pull out plastic pin.
11. Slide out and remove bracket.
12. Pull out ECU.
13. Using a cut-off wheel, cut a slot for a
screwdriver to remove the tamper proof
screws.
14. Bend open and remove tamper proof
bracket.
15. Pull locking tap sideward to remove
wire connector from ECU. Repeat for
other wire connector.
16. When sending you ECU to
NEUSPEED
®
, wrap it very carefully in
bubble wrap or equivalent, package
securely, and send next day air insured
for full value… $800.00. Please mark
box: ATTN: Chip.
17. Once your ECU arrives, we will
perform
the
NEUSPEED
®
P-Chip
installation and ship it back to you ASAP.
Upon return of your ECU, re-install in
reverse of disassembly. New tamper
proof screws are available from Audi/VW
parts or
NEUSPEED
, Part# N 911 366

NOTE: It is recommended that you do
not turn on the ignition when ECU is
removed from vehicle.
NOTE: After installation of ECU, turn
ignition key to ON position for 30-
seconds BEFORE starting vehicle. This
step is required only once whenever the
ECU is disconnected from a power
supply.
NOTE: All factory tune-up specifications
remain the same. Premium fuel is
required.
