Replacing the Projector Lamp

Step 5

Note how the bracket attaches to the underside of the tabletop and perform one of the following actions:

If the bracket attaches to the tabletop using screws and keyhole slots in the projector bracket,
complete the following steps to remove it from the tabletop and continue to

Step 6

:

a.

Remove two of the six screws that hold the projector assembly to the underside of the center
tabletop. These screws are the rear-most of the six screws and the furthest away from the
projector lens.

b.

Loosen the remaining four mounting screws.

Note

You might have to remove the screws and remove the assembly during this step, rather than
loosen the screws. Be sure to secure the projector when you remove the screws.

c.

Remove the projector assembly by sliding the unit to the side until the projector mounting
bracket disengages from the loosened mounting screws.

If the bracket attaches to the tabletop with screws that hold the bracket by its edges, complete the
following steps to remove it from the tabletop:

a.

Loosen the six screws that attach the projector assembly to the tabletop.

b.

Remove the projector assembly by sliding the unit to the front until the projector mounting
bracket disengages from the loosened mounting screws.

Step 6

Loosen the screw that secures the lamp cover, then open the lamp cover. Access the cover through the
cut-out rectangle on the projector mounting bracket.

The lamp cover is located in one of the following places:

On the underside of the projector. Since the projector is mounted upside-down, the cover is located
on the side that is nearest to the table top.

On the rear of the projector (China only)

Step 7

Use the screwdriver to loosen the two screws that secure the lamp fixture in place.

Step 8

Use the handles to remove the lamp module.

Note

You may need to rock the unit backward and forward to unseat it.

Step 9

Install the replacement lamp module and secure the module and cover with the screws.

Step 10

Place the projector and bracket in position on the bottom of the table and slide the assembly into place.

Step 11

Tighten the screws that secure the mounting bracket and replace the two screws at the rear of the bracket.

Step 12

Reattach the power, video, and signal cables.

Step 13

Turn the power switch on the underside of the projector to the ON position.

Step 14

Reset the lamp replacement counter by completing the following steps:

a.

Press the MENU button to display the on-screen menu.

Note

You can either use the remote or press the button on the projector to perform these steps. The
MENU and other buttons are on the underside of the projector after you attach it to the table.

b.

Use the Up and Down arrow keys to select Setting.

c.

Use the Right and Left arrow keys to select Lamp counter reset.
