Preparation
Remove face plate and throat plate and swing back
cover plate toward hand wheel.
Remove dust and lint with brush.
CAUTION: Do not brush sewing hook with fine
bristle brush. (Fine bristles break off and clog the
hook.) Use only brush with stiff bristles such as shown
in Fig. 75B, page 47.
TO OIL THE MACHINE
Oiling
Apply a drop of oil to all points indicated in Figs. 76,
77, 78, 79 and 80.
