Tracking a daily activity goal

Your Surge tracks your progress towards a daily goal of your choice.

Choosing a goal

By default your goal is 10,000 steps per day. On the Fitbit app or fitbit.com
dashboard you can choose a different goal, including distance traveled, calories
burned, or floors climbed, and select the corresponding value you prefer. For
example, you may want to keep steps as your goal but change the target from
10,000 to 20,000 steps.

Seeing goal progress

A progress bar keeps you motivated. For example, the solid portion of the line below
shows that you’re more than halfway to a goal of 10,000 steps.

When you reach your goal your Fitbit Surge will vibrate and flash to celebrate.
