Contour roll

Seven different seams can be sewed with this machine. The fabrics are
inserted in insertion direction below the contour guiding (7), until photo cell (6)
detects the cloth.

After switching the photo cell dark, the sewing foot of the sewing head (4)
and the contour roll (9) are lowered. The cloth is sewed. During that, the
photo cell (6) supervises the correct cloth transportation (contour guiding)
and adjusts the speed of the contour roll (9) if required.

Foot pedal machine sequence

This is used in several sewing programs to trigger different functions (see
section 6.2).

The foot pedal is equipped with two contacts. One is located in the rear area
and is closed by putting weight on the tip of the foot. The other one is located
in the front area and can be contacted by pressing down the heel („Kick
back“).
