Warning

• If you suspect that the blood glucose results are incorrect, first repeat the test and, if applicable,

perform a functional test using control solution. Seek medical advice if dubious results persist.

• Seek medical attention immediately if your symptoms do not correspond to your measured blood

The following table provides a classification of blood glucose values according to the diabetes guide-

lines of the German Diabetes Association (Deutsche Diabetes Gesellschaft – DDG).

If this high value persists two hours

after your last meal, this may indi-

cate hyperglycaemia. Seek medi-

cal attention to coordinate any

measures, if applicable.

High blood glucose level,

possibly ketones

Above 240 mg/dL

Perform a ketone test. For this pur-

pose, seek medical attention.

Very high blood glucose level

Above 630 mg/dL

Take another measurement using a

new test strip. If the display is the

same as before: seek medical at-

tention immediately.
