Reference level

REF.LEVEL

)This is the amount of

headroom above the nominal 0 dB — in other words,
what level corresponds to 0 dBFS.

This setting applies only to the balanced XLR analog
I/O jacks (and not to the unbalanced RCA analog
connectors).

You can select between

–16 dB

,

–18 dB

and

–20 dB

to

match your local working practices.

Resume playback

(

RESUME

) The DV-RA1000

can be set to resume playback or recording from the
point where it stopped when the

STOP

key is

pressed. When recording, this is similar to assemble
recording on DVD discs (see “Recording mode” on
page 35
).

This point is retained even when the unit is powered
off. Select either

ON

or

OFF

for this option.

TIP

You can press

STOP

and the rewind key together to

return to zero.

NOTE

This function also works when recording on DVD+RW
media.
