Using the Projector

Sleep Mode

When the projector has not received any input signals for 30 minutes,
it automatically turns off the projector lamp and enters “sleep mode.”
In sleep mode, only a minimum amount of the projector’s circuitry
remains on. This conserves electricity, cools the projector, and extends
the life of the lamp. When you are ready to start projecting again,
press the

Power

button. If you are done using the projector, unplug

the power cord.

Adjusting the Image

Once you see your image, you’ll need to make certain adjustments:

To focus or zoom your image, see below.

If only part of a computer image is displayed, you may need to
press the

Resize

button. See page 45 for more information.

If the image is too high or too low, you can reposition it. See
page 46.

If the image isn’t square, see page 47.

If the image is flickering or “noisy,” see page 47.

Focusing and Zooming Your Image

Rotate the focus ring to sharpen the image.

note

When the projector is in sleep
mode, the power light is
orange. If necessary, you can
disable sleep mode in the
Setting menu. See page 69.
