Exponent function (exp)

The exponent function (exp) is used to raise a term or collection of
terms to a power. Exponents can be any unitless value or collection of
values.

To insert the exponent function:

U

Press the MATH... soft key

U

Press the EXP dimension key

Parentheses must be applied where a collection of terms or values is
used in an exponent function.

Exponent function, single value.

Exponent function, collection of values.

Exponent function syntax

A = Termexpvalue

B = Termexp(Collection of values)

Example 1:

A = C1exp3

A = 8 mm

when C1 = 2 mm

Example 2:

B = C2exp(C3+2)

B = 81 mm
