9-10 OPERATION GUIDE
1 Pull the cassette out.
2 If a sheet of paper is jammed
inside, remove it carefully so as
not to tear it.
NOTE: If the paper is torn, be sure to remove all remnants or fragments
from the cassette.
3 Firmly push the cassette back into its original position.
NOTE: Check to see that there is no paper sticking out from the guides in
the cassette. If paper is sticking out, recheck the cassette.
In the case where “J21” is displayed, refer to Paper misfeed in the Left
Cover internal section (J20, J30, J40 to 45, J50, J52 to 56, J60, J61) on
page 9-11 and remove the paper.
Paper misfeed in the MP Tray (J10)
When the paper misfeed has occurred in the MP Tray, use the procedure
below to clear it.
1 Remove all of the MP Tray paper.
