Charging the Battery
Always use the dedicated AC adaptor (supplied), USB cable (supplied), and battery
for this camera.
• Always charge before first use! (battery is shipped uncharged)
• Charge the battery while it is in the camera.

Third-party batteries that look similar to the Leica battery BP-DC12 are available
in some markets. Some of these third-party products may not comply with
safety standards and may pose a fire or explosion hazard. Leica Camera AG
shall not accept liability for damages or accidents caused by the use of third-
party batteries. We urgently recommend using only genuine BP-DC12 Leica
batteries.
