11.14.2. Replacing a PCIe Card or Carrier

1. Using the new card or the new carrier, place the card into the carrier, and then close

the carrier.

2. With the orange release lever pulled out, slide the carrier into the cell, and then

push the lever to engage the PCIe card carrier.

3. Complete the appropriate software procedures to make the operating system

recognize the card.

These procedures are different for each card and may be done automatically. Refer
to the documentation that came with the card.

Use the following procedures to remove and replace a power supply.
