CD dubbing

Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until "CD DubMode?"
appears.

Perform CD dubbing to digitally record all the tracks
from a music CD to a CD-R or CD-RW. The dubbing
mode is selected at the EDIT menu.

Preparation

• Turn on the CDR-201A (see page 20).
• Place the music CD in the CD player. (Refer to

the instruction manual for the C-701A.)

• Place a recordable CD-R or CD-RW in the CDR-

201A (see page 20).

Repeatedly press the INPUT button
until "Digital In1" appears.

Note:

CD dubbing cannot be performed when "Digital
In 2" or "Analog In" is selected.

Press the MULTI JOG dial.

Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.
The current dubbing mode appears.

The current dubbing mode is given on the left
side (for the display given above, the current
dubbing mode is the album mode).

Album: Only record the tracks that can be
completely recorded. (Album mode) With CD-
RW discs, erase a track if it cannot be
completely recorded.
Fade: A fade-out is recorded at the end of
the final track that could not be completely
recorded. (Fade-out mode)

To change the dubbing mode, press the
MULTI JOG dial.

Pressing the YES button provides the same
operation.
The new dubbing mode is set. To not change
the dubbing mode, press the EDIT/NO button.
