Entering a disc name
When entering a disc name, set the CDR-201A to
the stop state in advance.

Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the
MULTI JOG dial until " Name In?"
appears.
To cancel name input, press the EDIT/NO button
again or the STOP e button.
Name function
• The name function can be used for non-finalized
CD-Rs or CD-RWs. You cannot enter names on
finalized discs.
• The names you can enter include the disc name
and track names.
• You can enter one disc name and up to 99 track
names per disc. A disc or track name can consist
of up to 24 characters. You can enter up to
1000 characters per disc.
• Finalization is required to write entered names
to the disc. (The names you enter are
temporarily retained in the CDR-201A and then
written to the disc during finalization.)
