Selecting Turbo Lock

To make sure that you are using Turbo Code with a call, select Turbo
Lock:
1.

Press .

CODE < AUTOMATIC> is displayed.

2.

Press the

to change the option to <TURBO LOCK>. Then,

press .

TURBO LOCK <OFF> is displayed.

3.

Press the

to change the option to <ON>. Then, press

. ** TURBO LOCK ON ** is displayed.

4.

Press

to exit the Options menu.

BAUDOT CODE

1.

Press .

CODE < AUTOMATIC> is displayed.

2.

Press the

to change the setting to <BAUDOT>.

3.

Press . ** BAUDOT CODE ON ** is displayed briefly. Then,
the Baudot baud rate option is displayed.

4.

Press the

to select either <45> or <50>. Then, press

to save it.
Select <45> to use only 45.5 baud Baudot. Most Baudot TTYs use
this setting.
Select <50> to use only 50 baud Baudot. TTYs purchased in
Australia, New Zealand or South Africa use 50 baud.

5.

Press

to exit this menu.

ASCII (OPTIONAL)

About ASCII

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange.
Some TTYs and all computers in the United States and Canada use ASCII.
If your Superprint Pro80 has ASCII, you may need to change some
options.

Changing ASCII Options

1.

Press .

CODE < AUTOMATIC> is displayed.

2.

Press the

to change the setting to <ASCII>.

3.

Press .

** ASCII CODE ON ** is displayed briefly. Then, the

first of the ASCII options is displayed.

4.

Press

to scroll through the options. These described in the next

section, “ASCII Options.”

5.

For each option, you can press the

to change the setting.

Then, press

to save it. The next option will be displayed.

6.

Press

to exit the ASCII Options at any time.
