Replacing the Rectifier Fan Assemblies, continued
Step Action
6 Remove the fan cable clamps.
7 Carefully unplug the fan connectors (2). Fan connectors are
keyed and can be loosened by inserting a screwdriver into the
slotted side of the connector and gently prying the fan-side
connector loose.
8 Remove the fans by removing the fan screws (8).
9 Install the new fans in position as shown in Figure 11-2 by
installing the fan screws (8).
10 Position the fan cables as shown in Figure 11-2.
11 Replace the fan cable clamps.
Caution
Place faceplate ground wire terminal under fan cable
clamp as shown in Figure 11-2.
12 Replace the faceplate by installing the faceplate screws (4).
13 Install the rectifier, following the “Installing or Replacing a
Rectifier” procedure in this section.
14 Test replaced rectifiers using the “Testing Additional Alarms
After Replacement of Rectifiers” procedure in this section.
