EXCHANGER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

20.3 Disconnect power cable from burner. Remove (3) 9/16 nuts and washers

from burner swing door. Remove (1) 7/16 nut from hinge pin on left side of
burner. Caution: The burner is heavy be prepared when working on a ladder.


20.4 Remove the clean out access panel cabinet door from the right side of the

heater (facing the burner) by removing (6) #8 hex head sheet metal screws.


20.5 On the combustion chamber clean out door (inner) spray all of the studs (17-

9/16”) with penetrating oil to prevent breakage. Allow penetrating oil to soak
for 5 min. Remove the brass nuts and washers allowing removal of
combustion chamber clean out door. This is a good time to perform your
annual burner tune-up. Caution: This door is heavy be prepared when
working on a ladder.
