Introduction
The CE Batch Portable Application resides on the handheld device. It sup-
ports physical inventory counting, inventory moves, issues, and receipts.
The following sections introduce the steps involved in communicating,
programming, sending data, starting the application, configuring and using
a portable bar code reader with IntelliTrack Stockroom.
Opening the
Batch
Portable
Application Important: After installation, send validation data to the CE Batch Porta-
ble application (for more information about sending validation data to the
Batch Portable application, please refer to
“Downloading Data to the Batch
Portable Application” on page 234 ).
To open the Stockroom CE Batch Portable Application on the handheld
device, please refer to the instructions that follow.
1. Power up the portable.
2. Tap Start > Programs on the handheld to view the list of programs
available.
3. The available programs appear. Next, tap the Stockroom icon to open
the handheld application.
Logging In The Batch Portable Login Screen appears.
If you sent security data to the Batch Portable application, the Batch Porta-
ble application security settings are the same as the workstation security
settings. Hence, your workstation user ID and password (if applicable) are
also applied to the Batch Portable application. (If you are not using pass-
words to log into the workstation application, your Batch Portable applica-
tion will not contain a Password field on the Login screen.) To log into the
