2.

When you download data to the handheld device, the site data, as set in
the Batch Synchronization Utility\Send Data tab will be downloaded
to the handheld device. To select the default site for handheld data col-
lection, click the drop-down arrow in the Default Site field and select
the default site from the drop-down list that appears. The Default Site
field will automatically appear in the site drop down boxes and/or as
the selected site on the screens throughout the batch portable applica-
tion.

3.

The Options Screen contains two location options:

Mark the Prompt for Location option to require a location selection
for each transaction.

Mark the Default Location option for the location selection to
default to the last location entered.

4.

Mark the Show Transaction History check box to display the five
most recent transactions sequentially in a Recent Transactions grid
along the bottom of each portable screen.

If you do not mark this check box, this feature is disabled and the
transaction grid will not appear in the Batch Portable Application
screens.

5.

Mark the Delete Data on HH After Upload check box to purge data
automatically on the handheld after successfully sending it to the Batch
Synchronization Utility on the desktop.

Note that when you enable this option, the handheld application will
not contain backup data. If you do not want the data to be deleted
automatically after an upload, do not mark this check box. (If you do
not delete data automatically, you are still able to delete collected
data manually via the Purge menu option.)

6.

Mark the Display pull down lists check box to display pull down list
selections in the Batch Portable application. For example, when you
mark this box, selection lists are available throughout the batch porta-
ble application for site, location, item, and department selection.
