The Receipt Process

Receipts add items to the inventory. During the Receipt process, items can
be returned to inventory and assigned departments can be credited. If you
receive an item not found in inventory, the system prompts you to add it.

Note: The entries on screen throughout the application may be scanned or
entered via the keypad. If drop-down boxes are available, entries may also
be selected.

To receive an item into inventory, please refer to the steps that follow.

1.

From the Main screen, click the Issue/Receipt button. The Issue/
Receipt
menu appears.

2.

From the Issue/Receipt menu, select Receipt. The Receipt screen
appears; the Location tab is to the front.

3.

Enter the Site for the receipt in the Site field.

4.

Enter the location for the item being received in the Location field.
