Paper Type

Click the down arrow, and select a paper type from the dis-
played options. The available Paper Type options depend
on the Document Type setting. The available options are as
follows.

• Plain Paper

Select this for printing on plain paper.

• Laser Paper

Select this for printing on computer paper with a smooth
surface or Alps High Grade Paper.

• Photo Realistic Paper

Select this for enhanced 1200 dpi printing on Photo Re-
alistic Paper.

• Cardboard (Thick Paper)

Select this for printing on cardboard or thick paper.

• Photo Realistic Label

These labels are used exclusively for full color printing at
1,200 dpi on a sheet containing 16 labels (Part No.
105108-00).

• Photographic Paper

Select this for printing on Photographic-Quality Paper
(Letter / A4) or Photographic-Quality Paper (4" x 6" / 100
x 148 mm).

• Photographic Label

Select this for printing on Photographic-Quality Labels.

• Transparency Film

Select this for printing on overhead projector transpar-
encies.

• Iron-on Sheet

Select this for printing on iron-on transfer sheets.

• Back Print Film

Select this for printing on back print film.

Paper Size

Click the down arrow, and select a paper size from the dis-
played options. The available options are as follows:

• Letter 8 1/2 x 11 in
• A4 210 x 297 mm
• B5 (JIS) 182 x 257 mm
• Photo Paper 4 x 6 in
• Photo Label 100 x 148 mm
• Photo Label 100 x 164 mm
• User Defined

When you select this option, a box appears to allow you
to specify the paper width and length.

Orientation

This setting sets the paper orientation.

• Portrait/Landscape

Click one of the radio buttons to set the paper orienta-
tion to either Portrait or Landscape.

• Flip Horizontal

Turning on this option prints an image flipped horizon-
tally. When you select Iron-on Sheet or Back Print Film
in the Paper Type setting, this check box is automatically
checked.
