Meaning

To play back a stereo tape or dual sound track
tape with main and sub sound (p. 214)

To play back a stereo tape with the left sound or
dual sound track tape with main sound

To play back a stereo tape with the right sound
or dual sound track tape with sub sound

To adjust the balance between stereo 1 and stereo
2 (p. 105)

To output digital images and sound in analog
format using your camcorder

To output analog images and sound in digital
format using your camcorder (p. 187)

To use the video plug of the A/V connecting
cable when recording from a player

To use the S video plug of the A/V connecting
cable when recording from a player

To set the brightness on the LCD screen normal

Notes on LCD B.L. and VF B.L.
•When you select BRIGHT, battery life is reduced by about 10 percent during

recording.

•When you use power sources other than the battery pack, BRIGHT is automatically

selected.

Even if you adjust LCD B.L., LCD COLOR and VF B.L.
The recorded picture will not be affected.
